Lynx Asset Management was founded in 1999 and is today one of the world’s leading players in model-based asset management.
The fund manager is under the supervision of the Financial Supervisory Authority and, with a systematic investment process, predicts the price movements of financial markets using quantitative methods. Today, 70 people work towards the goal of creating high risk-adjusted returns with low co-variation to the general market trend. When Lynx had outgrown from its former premises, Senab was given the task of transforming and adapting their new premises – a whole floor plan in an attractive 70s building on Regeringsgatan in Stockholm.
The office should be decorated to reflect transparent working methods, curious conversations and togetherness. The synergies of all the different parts of the interior should create a truly unique and special atmosphere; well balanced between energy and calm, airy and very comfortable. The challenge with the project was that the interior should stimulate innovation and curiosity.
The dark center of the office space area made the light a central role in the design. All furniture work in different ways with the artificial light and the daylight. In the design of the new office, transparency was an important term, it has ruled many materials choices such as fixtures and furniture chosen for their relationship with one another. The space has ergonomically designed workstations combined with airy common areas with features that create spontaneous meetings and conversations. Senab has delivered large parts of the interior at Lynx Asset Management. 50 suppliers of office furniture and 40 suppliers of light have together created the new Lynx office.
Senab has assisted the architect and project manager throughout the project. Senab’s logistics department has had total responsibility for the coordination of transport, assembly and deployment of the interior.
Our vision was to stimulate the strong cohesion and the winning way of working on Lynx.
