Radisson Blu Strand Hotel is currently undergoing a transformation, where all rooms, suites, restaurants and common spaces are renewed to become Stockholm’s leading lifestyle hotel. Welcome to a new design concept – all to be the undisputed destination and meeting place for travelers and locals!

Together with the acclaimed architectural agency Wingårdhs, Senab has been involved in the interior design project for over 1.5 years.

This fall, the restaurant and Stockholm’s new meeting place, The Strand has opened. The Strand wants to attract an audience who enjoys high quality in a relaxed atmosphere. The aim has been to create a feeling of timeless elegance combined with history, and some innovative elements.

Wingårdhs has created the concept and Senab has assisted in the selection of furniture and fittings, as well as the production of custom-made furnishings.

In 2016, the refurbishment of the lobby, conference rooms and 40 new hotel rooms in the annexe was completed. Decorated in Scandinavian elegance, the renovated rooms and suites have an interior color scheme reminiscent of natural materials like stone, wood, leather, metal and plaster. This base is set against more well-defined elements like saturated colors and detailed furniture, woodwork and textiles.

”We Inspire” is the motto for the hotel’s new meeting concept, Strand Gatherings. The modern conference rooms contain the latest technique and is a meeting place for creative talks and innovative ideas in a classic environment.

To create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the interior colour scale is based on nature's own colours such as stone, wood, leather and metal.
