Growth drives change. This is clear when we look at the way people work today and the role of offices. The activity-based office has almost become the norm, and the shift can pose significant challenges for individuals. Properly managed, however, it provides direction and energy inward and forward. That was the result for Avinode.

Background
In early 2020, the technology company Avinode will move into the state-of-the-art office building at Gamlestads torg in Gothenburg. In a short time, the business has outgrown its old premises and the move to the new office on the top floor will be a fresh start on many levels, not least through the transition to a more flexible way of working. The vision is to create an office that is easier to adapt to continued growth, where the interior design also creates the right harmony for the employees. And can contribute to the company's attractiveness in the labor market.
Challenge
In the activity-based office, there are no fixed locations and employees choose their workplace according to the nature of the task. Usually, the office is divided into zones such as quiet areas, social areas and meeting places, and a challenge lies in finding the balance between these. Through a number of workshops together with representatives from Avinode, Senab developed a method that focused on the employees' well-being and managed to identify their concrete needs for these zones. This paved the way for a successful transformation and an even more positive reception of the change.
The final result
The interior design invites and simplifies the new activity-based approach and is easy for employees to understand and follow. The corporate identity plays a prominent role in the various interior design solutions and the choice of colors contributes to a unique expression.
Creating this unique feeling was an important part of the assignment, while at the same time making it easy for every employee to recognize themselves when they enter Avinode's entrance doors.
Senab in Gothenburg carried out the assignment and delivered all loose furnishings for workplaces, meeting rooms and open areas adapted for a total of about 50 employees. The successful result was achieved thanks to close cooperation between Avindoe, Senab and White Arkitekter.
